Catalan is very special for us. Chris kind of ‘adopted’ my parents when he was the sous chef and later “wine guy” at Brennan’s. His food was always exquisite, and he’d always make sure my mom got her favorite cheese grits. When he teamed up to start Catalan, we were very excited at the prospect, and were not disappointed. Two weeks afer they opened, it is where we celebrated my parents’ 43rd anniversary…and where I proposed to Anne. We have been back numerous times, and have always had a wonderful dining experience.

So glad to see them getting this national recognition!
