A couple of weeks ago our home was burglarized while we were at church. [N.B. the time stamp is slow by about an hour forty-five.]
Here is the notice; following it are links to more video of the culprit.
On Sunday, October 30th, at approximately 11:40 a.m., a black male suspect burglarized a Briargrove residence in the 1700 block of Briarmead. The suspect apparently saw the residents leave the location and decided to burglarize the home. The suspect was caught on video committing the crime. The suspect approached the home on a bicycle (possibly a mountain bike). The suspect rang the doorbell and waited for someone to come to the door. When no one answered the door, the suspect went into the backyard and proceeded to use a crowbar to break into the rear door of the residence. The suspect stayed in the home approximately 20 minutes. The suspect wore gloves during the crime, but we may have prints on the front door. Suspect description: Clean cut B/M, approx 5’10”-6’0″, 180-200 lbs, 28-30 years of age, light complexion with short hair and a mustache. The suspect was wearing baggy pants with a waist length leather coat. The suspect was neatly dressed, which most residents do not associate with burglars.
If anyone obseved this suspect or any suspicious activity, please call the Briargrove Officer at 713-822-0600.
