However, he should face scrutiny for possible <a href=\"http:\/\/hal.lamar.edu\/~BROWNTF\/Churchill1.htm\">academic fraud<\/a>, as pointed out by <a href=\"http:\/\/hal.lamar.edu\/~BROWNTF\">Thomas Brown<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lamar.edu\/\">Lamar University<\/a>:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nChurchill argues that the US Army created a smallpox epidemic among the Mandan people in 1837 by distributing infected blankets.
