Undeterred by the failure of the McDonald’s lawsuit in which plaintiffs claimed it was
the restaurant, not their own ignorance and behavior, that caused their obesity, a man who lost his life savings in slot machines is suing the casino where he
dropped the money.
Just as I was sorry for the kids in the McD’s suit who had idiot parents, I’m sorry for this man’s family for his idiocy. He obviously has a gambling problem,
but instead of seeking help, he seeks a “quick fix” by suing, any award from which he would most likely give right back to the casino.
