Bicyclist dies after being struck by pickup

The lack of lighting and reflectors are being blamed for an accident that killed a man on a bicycle.
It happened on Hardy Road and W. Thorne in north Harris County late Monday night. A truck driver apparently did not see the man in the road and hit him. There are no street lights in the area and officers say the bicyclist was wearing dark clothes and headphones.
The driver of the pickup stayed on the scene to talk to police. Officers say the driver may not face charges.

A man was hit by a pickup and killed as he was riding his bike in Westfield Monday night.
Harris County deputies said the cyclist was wearing headphones and riding without reflectors in the middle of the northbound lane of the 20100 block of East Hardy shortly after 10 p.m. when he was struck in the rear by a northbound Chevy Silverado pickup.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges are expected to be filed against the driver, who remained at the scene after the accident.
My vote goes to A. They had the most pertinent details about the cause of the accident (no lights in area, no reflectors or lights on bike, cyclist wearing dark clothes and headphones), and had the story up earliest, but doesn’t say what time. B neglects to mention the the lack of reflectors and the dark clothes, but does get a more specific time. C’s headline focuses on one cause and misses the lack of lights and dark clothes, but let’s us know the time and has more details about the accident itself.
