Restaurant.com – HOT! – 90% off of their dining certificates, code: NINETY
(repost)

In celebration of the date 09/09/09, they are offering a 90% coupon today only. First time we ever saw a 90% coupon from Restaurant.com, and unlikely we will see it again anytime soon. The code is NINETY. Most offers on their site are:
$10 value certificate for $3, or $0.30 after 90% coupon code.
$25 value certificate for $10, or $1.00 after 90% coupon code.
$50 value certificate for $20, or $2.50 after 90% coupon code.
$75 value certificate for $30, or $3.00 after 90% coupon code.
$100 value certificate for $40, or $4.00 after 90% coupon code.
Be sure to read the certificate restrictions before ordering one. Most require a certain number of people at your table and cannot apply toward alcoholic drinks. Present the coupon before ordering food, to ensure they apply it toward the final bill. When tipping, be sure to factor gratuity percentage against the original pre-certificate amount. For example, a $40 meal would cost $15 after applying a $25 certificate, but an appropiate tip amount would be $7 or $8, so your final meal cost would be about $24 (1 + 40 – 25 + (40 * 0.2)).

Each restaurant has their own rules, so be sure to read the requirements before purchasing. Because the deal is so great, their servers are extremely busy, and it may take a while for your confirmation to come through.

Why Is Marijuana Still Illegal?, by Doug Bandow:

There are lots of good reasons why people shouldn’t use drugs. But making drug use illegal only compounds the social consequences, turning a moral and health problem into a legal and criminal problem. The result is the worst of both worlds: all of the problems of drug use plus all of the problems of prohibition. Unfortunately, those consequences flow overseas, further undermining fragile societies such as Afghanistan, Colombia, and Mexico and ultimately American security objectives as well.

It’s time to call off the Drug War.
